Abstract
Hydraulic power assist (HPA) vehicle control strategy is always a hotspot in the field of hybrid vehicle research. To improve the HPA vehicle entire fuel consumption efficiency, many researches have been done to make the energy recovery rate higher. Well, according to the engine's fuel consumption curves, the fuel consumption does not proportion to the energy requirement, which means the energy recovery rate does not determine the fuel quantity entirely. A fuel consumption characteristics based energy control strategy was established to adjust the engine working more in the high efficient area. An AMESim simulation model was built up to evaluate the strategy performance under some different conditions. Simulation results showed that the proposed strategy was rational and effective.
