Abstract

Hydration of 15% Fly ash-OPC has been studied in presence of 0.4 wt% superplasticizer by using different techniques such as setting time, X-ray diffraction, FTIR spectroscopic and SEM studies. Compressive strength measurements were also made at different time interval. It was found that in presence of Fly ash, early strength is decreased. Whereas 28 days strength in presence of superplasticizer was highest. This could be due to morphological changes.
