Abstract
A62-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital with a few months’ history of weakness, weight loss, abdominal discomfort, and jaundice. On abdominal examination, a right-sided mass, collateral veins, and ascites were found. Ultrasonography and computed tomography showed enlargement of the liver with multiple inhomogeneous cysts with calcareous walls (Figure A). Several similar looking cysts were found in the kidneys and also in the spleen. The peritoneum also was involved with possible carcinomatosis.
