Abstract

The article considers the features of rolling stock operating modes, which equipped with hydraulic transmission (shunting locomotives, diesel trains and rail buses). Despite the many advantages of hydraulic transmission compared with the electric power transmission diesel-hydraulic power system has the same shortcomings during operations - a significant portion of operating time on inefficient and non-environmental conditions. In order to reduce such operation modes of rolling stock, proposed a hybrid (integrated) power plant in the form of hydraulic energy accumulator.
