Abstract
Abstract A drilling and completion system has been developed which will handle both continuous pipe (coiled tubing) and jointed pipe. The coiled tubing is handled using a conventional coiled tubing unit. The jointed pipe is handled using a set of snubbing jacks. This paper describes the design considerations and resulting system that was developed. A case history of the first use of this system is also presented.
