Abstract

In this study, the asphalt mixture has the function of active humidifying and dust suppression by adding adsorbent to its surface. By means of scanning electron microscope, physical adsorption and other micro analysis methods, from the perspective of micro morphology, adsorption structure and surface wettability of the adsorption asphalt mixture, the micro adsorption characteristics of the porous adsorbent (Natural zeolite powder, 13X molecular sieve) at different dosage of asphalt mixture are obtained by taking the growth rate of adsorption area and adsorption pore volume as evaluation indicators, 100% 13X molecular sieve can increase 94.57% adsorption area and 79.58% adsorption pore volume. Combined with the macro humidifying and dust suppression test, the influence of adsorbent on the humidifying and dust suppression of asphalt mixture is analyzed. The results show that the addition of porous adsorbent increases the adsorption area and adsorption pore volume of asphalt mixture, enhances its water retention and dust suppression ability, and the dust suppression effect is strongly related to the increase of adsorption surface area and adsorption pore volume, the inhibition time of PM10 concentration can reach 1.5 times of that of ordinary asphalt mixture.
