Abstract

This study aimed to investigate radiographic changes in the uncemented humeral stem in shoulder arthroplasties more than 10 years after surgery. Methods: From June 2001 to April 2011, patients with hemiarthroplasty (HHR) or total shoulder arthroplasty (TSA), with uncemented humeral stem more than 10 years after surgery, were recruited. We included 39 patients (41 shoulders; 9 males, 30 females; mean age, 64.3 years) who were followed up. The average postoperative follow-up period was 12.0 years.
