Abstract

I concluded the previous chapter noting the need to link my proposal to integrate the hermeneutics of responsibility in organizational processes with a concept of the organization that would be adequate for and coherent with this aspiration. In my opinion, however, it is very important to note that launching this proposal for BE not only requires careful thought on the part of ethics, but also on the part of business. This is precisely what makes integration possible. I also feel that it is necessary to place this concept of the organization in the framework of the social and technological changes that make it plausible and necessary. Thus we can say that the issue of a new type of organization is inextricable from the issue of a new type of emerging society. I will therefore begin by describing the social context of the concept of the organization on which my proposal is based. Secondly, I will endeavor to show why the aim to go beyond the traditional concept of organizations is justified. In Chapter 10 I will describe the concept I believe to be best suited to contemporary changes and to my proposed understanding of BE.KeywordsTechnological ChangeOrganizational LearnIndustrial RevolutionKnowledge CreationKnowledge SocietyThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
