Abstract

* Ronald Paul Hill (Ph.D. University of Maryland at College Park) is Professor and Dean, School of Business Administration, University of Portland. His career has been and continues to be dedicated to the study of social issues from marketing and consumer behavior perspectives. Previous and current topics of investigation include AIDS, homelessness, consumer debt, juvenile delinquency, gun control, abortion, welfare reform, as well as others. His work has been published in Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Public Policy & Marketing, Journal of Advertising, Journal of Health Care Marketing, and Human Rights Quarterly, as well as additional outlets. ** Elizabeth C. Hirschman is University Professor & Chairperson of Marketing, Rutgers University at New Brunswick.
