Abstract
Abstract A simple, reliable HPTLC method has been developed for analysis of poly(ethyleneamine)s (PEAs). Ethylenediamine and all dimeric, trimeric, and tetrameric PEAs are separated without prior derivatization. Treatment with fluorescamine and visualization under ultraviolet light detects each PEA in quantities as low as 100 ng.
