Integrating mathematical modelling into a calculus course teaching is an effective way to cultivate students’ innovative and practical abilities. Moreover, it is a significant direction of the reform of calculus course. In this chapter, from the perspective of teachers, we explore how to infiltrate the mathematical modelling in calculus teaching, such as including definition introduction, theorem application and practice training. In particular, three examples, that is, circle cutting, table placing and investment cost are presented in detail to illustrate the three aspects, respectively.
