Abstract

It is important to reduce buliding costs for telescopes with apertures between 0.5m and 2.0m. These classes of telescopes give much astronomically useful data as well as large telescopes. From our experience in building a 75cm alt-azimuth telescope with a light weight primary mirror, we will present some items by which one can reduce the building costs for 0.5m to 2.0m telescopes.
