Abstract
Abstract When the SARS virus was detected in Singapore in 2002, the Singapore Tourism Board stepped forward to become a key actor in the city’s response. Representing both government and the industry, it managed to maintain Singapore’s credibility as a tourist destination by the provision of up-to-date information for markets and the industry at home and abroad.
