Abstract
Professionalism as a strategy to support the improvement of an organization's work cannot be separated from the performance achieved by an organization and the behavior of its members, including the Police. The method used in writing this manuscript is descriptive analysis. The strategy of the Police of the Republic of Indonesia in enhancing the professionalism of the Indonesian Police through strengthening the synergy of the police, namely through increasing the quality and quantity of human resources as outlined in the Grand Strategy of the National Police and supported by adequate budget and facilities and infrastructure. Factors that influence the Indonesian National Police in enhancing the professionalism of the Indonesian National Police through strengthening political synergy include government support and the revitalization of the National Police.
