Abstract
Nearly all Western writings contain a Eurocentric bias that springs from the assumption that all the branches of modern civilization have originated in the West. The corollary to this is that all or nearly all the ideas, institutions, habits and objects that define the life of a modern person (or Westerner) are of Western origin. In a playful manner, this essay shows this is not true. By simply following your average college student through her daily activities, you will quickly discover the diverse sources of her ideas, artifacts and culture.
