Abstract

In order to meet the needs of modern teaching, the use of group work in the classroom has become an indispensable part because it better creates opportunities for students to take the initiative to learn and effectively helps students to take the leading position in the classroom. The purpose of this article is to explore how group work can play a more significant role in the classroom. This paper analyzes the use of group work in the classroom through various theories based on how people learn, such as behaviourism, sociocultural, etc. At the same time, some methods to improve the use efficiency of group work are also proposed through research.
