Abstract
Abstract Results of field tests of ammoniated superphosphate fertilizers correlated well with availabilities determined by an alkaline ammonium citrate extraction, but showed no relation to availabilities determined by the official neutral ammonium citrate extraction procedure. It is recommended that water solubility of phosphate fertilizers be guaranteed and that the alkaline ammonium citrate extraction be considered for determination of the availability of phosphate fertilizers.
