Abstract
We report the management of a New Delhi metallo-β-lactamase-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae outbreak in a surgical intensive care unit over 1 year. NDM-producing Enterobacterales were isolated from sink traps. The installation of new sink traps closed the outbreak. Environmental reservoirs should be considered for any persistent carbapenemase-producing Enterobacterales outbreak.
