Abstract
This paper presents new expressions of the quasi-static effective constitutive parameters of bi-isotropic multilayered metamaterial. The decomposition scheme is used in transforming the bi-isotropic structure into two equivalent isotropic media. The effective parameters of the initial structure are given as a function of those of the two equivalent media. The numerical results are presented in order to validate the proposed expressions and the comparison is performed with the multiscale homogenization method.
