Abstract
The problem of homogeneous and heterogeneous reactions in tubular flow reactors has been solved using author's Diffusion Solver [1] for IBM-PC/XT/AT. Semianalitical solutions based on eigenvalue expansion techniques implemented in the system provide reliability and required accuracy of computations. Results for bulk average concentration have been compared with existing data. A plot of concentration profiles have been included to illustrate software facilities.
