Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a significant transformation to the workplace, highlighting home office as a crucial solution for maintaining business operations. Remote work quickly emerged as a necessary response to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, allowing companies to sustain productivity while ensuring employee safety. However, the transition to home office was not without challenges, including issues related to technological infrastructure, information security, and remote team management. Despite these challenges, home office has proven to be an opportunity to rethink work models, bringing benefits such as reduced operational costs and increased flexibility for employees. Companies have come to realize that implementing remote work policies can improve work-life balance and enhance employee satisfaction and retention. Additionally, the experience gained during the pandemic is shaping the future of work, with emerging trends towards hybrid and flexible models that combine the best of remote and in-person work. The future of home office appears promising, with new opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and the development of more adaptive and inclusive work practices.
