Abstract
We develop a generalized Hodge theory of invariant differential forms on non-compact manifolds with boundary which admit proper cocompact Lie group actions. As applications, we discuss properties of the Euler characteristic, the relative Euler characteristic and the Hopf cyclic cohomology for proper cocompact actions.
