Abstract
Introduction Among HIV patients on ART, a high viral load (VL) may indicate non-adherence or viral resistance. Among poorlyadherent patients, enhanced adherence counselling (EAC) may lead to viral resuppression and prevent development of viral resistance. We assessed viral resuppression and factors associated with resuppression among patients with a VL ≥1,000 copies/ml who had been referred for EAC.
