Abstract

En 1947, la bibliotheque Linda Hall de Kansas City a fait l'acquisition d'une copie du prestigieux ouvrage d'astronomie de Johann Bode : Uranographia. Ce volume fut le debut de la creation d'une grande collection d'ouvrages sur l'histoire de la science. En effet, le volume de Bode est arrive a la bibliotheque Linda Hall lors de l'acquisition du fonds de la Bibliotheque de l'academie americaine des arts et des sciences (AAAS). Cet article presente l'histoire de la bibliotheque Linda Hall et les acquisitions qui ont suivi celle de l'ouvrage de Bode
