Abstract

The text traces the development of Italian historiographic research from the second post-war period to the present, establishing the innovative moments and the models that have gradually established themselves that have evolved and enriched. In particular, it was the 1960s and 1970s that developed this transformative trend and to which we are still indebted today, precisely because of the high quality that has characterized national historical research.
