Abstract

The urgency of the research problem is caused by the need to study the historical experience of formation,implementation and development of exercises in the section "Sports and mobility games", in order to implement the state policy on the qualitative development of guidance documents on the physical training and sports and mass work of military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The use of game exercises in the physical training of servicemen has acquired the status of an independent section in training programs, which promotes the development of their general and special qualities during training, andas a means of active recreation after combat missions. Purpose:To conduct a comparative analysis of the use of sports and games in the physical training and mass work of military personnel from the middle of the nineteenth century to the present time. Methods:theoretical -analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, guiding documents on the problem of research, generalization of the modern experience of physical training of servicemen.Results:The period from the middle of the nineteenth century to the present is considered. A comparative analysis of the use of game exercises in the physical training of troops in the pre-revolutionary, post-revolutionary, Soviet periods and times of Independence is presented. Guiding documents regulating the system of physical training of servicemen in both military and military educational institutions are analyzed. Conclusions:The purpose of game exercises varied with changes in the military training system.
