Abstract

Introduction: Women presenting with hip-related pain (HRP) are ultimately underrepresented in biomechanics literature and recommendations are often extrapolated from male dominated cohorts. As such, the movement strategies of women with HRP are not well understood. Therefore, the aim of the study was to compare the work completed by the lower limb joints during the single leg drop jump (SLDJ) in women with and without HRP.
