Abstract

Abstract New energy levels with spin values up to at least 19 2 in 95Mo and 13 2 in 97Mo are inferred from the γ-radiation which is emitted when a 94Zr target is bombarded with α-particles of various energies between 12 and 43 MeV. The proposed level schemes are supported in part by coincidence measurements, and spin-parity assignments are based upon the observed excitation functions, angular distributions and polarizations of the emitted γ-rays.
