Abstract

Perovskite-like nonstoichiometric oxide SmxCu3V4O12 (space group Im\(\bar 3\), Z = 2, a = 7.276−7.314 A) with cationic vacancies and a homogeneity region was prepared barothermally (p = 6.0−9.0 GPa, T = 700−1100°C) for the first time. Structural and isotropic thermal parameters, as well as bond lengths and bond angles, were determined. The compound has metal-type conductivity and paramagnetic properties.
