Abstract
Perovskite-like nonstoichiometric oxide La x Cu3V4O12 (space group Im $$\bar 3$$ , Z = 2, a = 7.313–7.354 A) with cation-site vacancies has been prepared for the first time at high pressures (p = 6.0–8.0 GPa) and high temperatures (T = 700–1100°C). The compound has metal-type conductivity and paramagnetic properties, and undergoes a phase transition.
