Abstract
AbstractA high‐performance V‐band quadruple subharmonic mixer monolithic circuit is fabricated using the millimeter‐wave monolithic integrated circuit (MIMIC) process. Due to the superior features of the anti‐parallel diode pair (APDP) and the utilization of a quarter of fundamental frequency, the proposed subharmonic mixer shows good conversion‐gain and isolation characteristics. Maximum conversion gain of 0.8 dB at an LO frequency of 14.5 GHz and an RF frequency of 60.4 GHz is measured. Both LO‐to‐RF and LO‐to‐IF isolations are higher than 50 dB in the operation mode. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
