Abstract
A technology was developed for the production of highly spalling-resistant quartz ceramics from quartz glass with an organosilicon binder (resin or lacquer), together with methods of producing large blocks with high glass and slag resistance from this ceramic. The material is being used at the Saratov Technical Glass Plant, where it produces a savings of 250,000 rubles/yr.
