Abstract
Front Cover: In article number 2100022 by Tugrul Cem Bicak, a new method, namely “Type-II photoinitiated precipitation polymerisation”, is described for the synthesis and functionalisation of highly crosslinked microspheres in one step. Using this method, click functionality is introduced to the particles at room temperature by UV irradiation. A pyrene group is then attached onto the particles by CuAAC click reaction to confirm the presence and accessibility of the alkyne moiety, paving the way for fluorescent polymer microspheres.
