Abstract
In this paper, designing effective relay node selection scheme by jointly five criteria. i.e., relaying strategy, relay location, reputation, dedicated power and dedicated time, is proposed for the highest-level design of multi-user cooperative communication. The formulation of the proposed relay selection scheme is based on the multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) methods in applied mathematics context. Using MCDM optimization methods we consider jointly these five criteria in our relay selection scheme. The first three criteria have been studied and employed for the process of relay selection in the literature, jointly and separately, but the last two ones have not been considered in relay selection schemes for high-layer design.
