Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of organizational, pedagogical and humanitarian potential of higher education as a means of overcoming post traumatic stress in war conditions. The interpretation of the main concepts of "stress", "stress", "post-traumatic stress", "post-traumatic stress disorder", and the symptoms of post-traumatic stress state are given. It is emphasized that the attraction of internally displaced people to higher education simultaneously solves such important tasks as overcoming the consequences of post-traumatic stress, psychological stabilization of the individual, its socialization, adaptation to life in new conditions, training of the future qualified specialist and citizen. The complex of measures ensuring successful fulfillment of these tasks is highlighted, among them: solving of material and domestic and organizational and pedagogical problems, design of educational, cognitive and educational activity on the basis of information of psychological and pedagogical diagnosis, creation of favorable social and psychological environment, formation of interpersonal relationships on principles of Ukrainian morals, language and mentality, active involvement of young people in public work, including student selfgovernment, personal a well-orientated approach to the learning process, the effective use of the content of academic disciplines, the application of promising teaching methods and assessment of academic achievement, the involvement of students in virtual e-communication, participation in thematic programs and projects. The result of the pedagogical process is to become a psychologically balanced, adapted to the new conditions of a person's life, and at the same time - a competent specialist.
