Abstract
1. Experimental determination of the characteristics of high temperature stress relaxation in single crystals of Mo, W, and Mo-3 wt.% Nb filled an existing gap and made it possible to use the parameters of relaxation in practical calculations. 2. An analysis of the physical parameters entering into a number of known relaxation equations confirmed the applicability of these equations for calculations in the range of investigated temperatures and stresses.
