Abstract
In the present work, an attempt has been made to develop high strength steel from grey cast iron cylinder block boring scrap by high temperature sintering alone. The starting materials used for the present investigation were (a) grey cast iron automobile cylinder block boring scrap collected from the automobile industry and (b) Hoganas grade sponge iron powder (SC 100.26)
