Abstract

A high speed polarity-convertible driver has been developed for Josephson RAMS. The driver consists of serially-connected junctions, resistors and inductors. The driver enables high-speed operations for large scale RAMS by obtaining an impedance matching. The driver test chips, which are composed of Nb/AlOx/Nb junctions, Mo resistors and SiO2 insulators, have been fabricated using the Nb planarization technique. Polarity-convertible operations have been successfully obtained. Measured bias current margins were +or-11% for the X-driver and +or-14% for the Y-driver.
