Abstract
An improved class AB bipolar voltage-current convertor (VCCS) suitable for monolithic IC fabrication is described. Base-current compensation and bootstrapping are used to improve overall accuracy while preserving bandwidth and slewing rate. The conversion error is calculated and some experimental results are given which demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed circuit configurations.
