Abstract

This article presents a novel structure to design miniaturized dual-band filtering power dividers. It is realized by combining the feeding lines and coupled stub-loaded quarter-wavelength resonators. The operating frequencies can be adjusted easily by controlling the stub length of the resonator. Source–load coupling is employed to generate transmission zeros to enhance the selectivity. A resistor is added to guarantee the isolation and port matching. For demonstration, a dual-band filtering power divider is implemented. Good agreement between the prediction and measurement validates the proposed method.
