Abstract

In this paper, a novel dual-band filtering power divider with U-section loaded resonator is proposed. Two embedded U-section loaded resonators are used to obtain the dual-band filtering response, while a resistor is located between the output ports to improve the isolation. Odd-/even-mode method is applied to analysis on the dual functions of filtering and power division. To testify the validity of the proposed circuit, a filtering power divider prototype is designed, fabricated, and measured.
