Abstract

A LH2 pump inserted into LH2 tank produces a high pressure such as 8 MPa hydrogen to inject it onto the hot surface in the combustion chamber. This combustion system attains a high output performance with turbocharger like as conventional diesel engine without any abnormal combustions, a high thermal efficiency with an optimum compression ratio 12 : 1 for not only thermal efficiency but also vibration and noise, and also low NOx emission.
