Abstract

Spindle cell carcinoma or sarcomatoid carcinoma is a highly malignant form of squamous cell carcinoma with a low incidence of 2-3% in the larynx. Considering the poor prognosis, early diagnosis and treatment are imperative. This case report describes a high-grade spindle cell carcinoma of the supraglottic larynx treated with definitive radiation therapy.
