Abstract

Nowadays, with the depletion of fossil fuels, renewable energy power systems such as fuel cells have been developing rapidly. For DC Microgrid, fuel cell, and LED lighting systems, a high gain DC-DC converter with low voltage stress is designed. This converter work at high voltage gain under a low duty ratio. So there is always a high step-up DC-DC converter that is often required as the front stage to connect them to AC load. One of the major challenges with the DC-DC converter is the low boost capacity. So high gain DC-DC converter is implemented which has high boost capacity and low voltage stress across switch with improved efficiency. The voltage stress across a switch is reduced by implementing soft switching. The performance study and analysis of High gain DC-DC converter with low voltage stress is carried out with MATLAB/SIMULINK.
