Abstract

Field-induced transitions in quasi-ternary Er 2Fe 14B compounds have been revealed by means of magnetization measurements at high magnetic fields. The high-field studies for Er 2Fe 14B, in particular the modest differential high-field susceptibility and the formation of a non-collinear magnetic structure at 42 T, do not confirm the substantial canted magnetic structure at low fields.
