Abstract

The paper addresses kinematics of the rotary method whereby a grinding wheel is dressed by a rotating diamond cup wheel. Through the example of grinding high-temperature nickel and titanium alloys and high-alloy steels using highly porous vitrified cubic boron nitride wheels, the authors have demonstrated the advantages of the proposed dressing method over that with a single-point diamond dresser.
