Abstract
A WPT (Wireless Power Transfer) transmitter for the magnetic resonance coupling method of A4WP (Alliance for Wireless Power) is implemented with on-chip V/I sensing circuits. Onchip integration leads us low power and small size PTU (Power Transmitting Unit) on a board. By V/I monitoring the symmetry of PA outputs can be maintained achieving high power efficiency and EMI suppression. The achieved power efficiency is 90% and 3SUPrd/SUP and 5SUPth/SUP order harmonic suppression are improved by 3.43 dB and 5.1 dB.
