Abstract
Knowledge is also information owned by someone from the results of that person's activities. Knowledge of disaster mitigation means the extent to which the Susukan Village community knows about landslide disaster mitigation for their environment which is an environment prone to landslides. How can the community apply knowledge by utilizing existing local wisdom for planning and handling the landslide disaster in Susukan Village. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the Susukan Village community in terms of the theoretical knowledge of the community is still lacking, especially in terms of knowledge of preventing or reducing the risk of landslides. The Susukan community utilizes the local wisdom th to practice landslide disaster mitigation, such as cooperation, praying together for the safety of their environment and being protected from disasters, and planting trees in several disaster-prone locations to strengthen the Susukan Village area.
 Pengetahuan merupakan informasi yang dimiliki oleh seseorang dari hasil kegiatan seseorang tersebut. Pengetahuan mitigasi bencana dimaksudkan sejauh mana masyarakat Kelurahan Susukan mengetahui tentang mitigasi bencana tanah longsor untuk lingkungan mereka yang merupakan lingkungan rawan bencana tanah longsor. Bagaimana masyarakat bisa mengaplikasikan pengetahuan dengan memanfaatkan kearifan lokal yang ada guna perencanaan dan penanganan bencana tanah longdor di Kelurahan Susukan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Susukan jika berkenaan dengan pengetahuan teoritis masyarakat maka masih kurang dalam hal pengetahuan pencegahan atau pengurangan resiko bencana tanah longsor. Masyarakat Susukan memanfaatkan kearifan lokal mereka untuk mempraktekkan mitigasi bencana tanah longsor, seperti gotong royong, doa bersama guna keselamatan lingkungan mereka serta dijaga dari bala bencana, dan penanaman pohon di beberapa lokasi rawan bencana yang bertujuan memperkuat wilayah Kelurahan Susukan.
