Abstract

AbstractThis study scrutinizes the heterogeneous hybrid governance mechanisms of information technology and contact in supply chain quality management. Drawing on governance theory and features of information technology, a conceptual model is proposed. Based on the survey data obtained from 154 manufacturing firms' managers, we use the structural equation modeling method to test our conceptual model. The method of partial least squares is used to analyze the structural equation model. We find that Information transparency and contract completeness are substitutes, and information traceability and contract completeness are complements.
