Abstract
1. The possibility of quantitative determination of the double bonds in unsaturated polarylates by the method of IR-spectroscopy was demonstrated. 2. The molecular weight of the polyarylates containing unsaturated groups at the ends of the polymer chains may be determined spectroscopically. 3. The synthesis of homogeneous and mixed polyarylates based on fumaric acid was carried out by interfacial polycondensation, and their properties were investigated.
